HT-1200C-TSSG-III is a 3-zone top seed solution growth (TSSG) furnace for growing various crystals via flux solution. The furnace consists of three heating zone with the chamber of 5" Diameter x 24" high up to 1200º C. In the TSSG method of SiC, solid Si is heated and melted in the graphite crucible by the induction-heating coils. The needed carbon dissolves from the crucible into the Si melt, then forms a dilute Si-C solution (melt).
