Economic Compact Bridgman Crystal Growth Furnace w/ Hanging Wire Up to 1100C

HT-1200-BF is a compact and economic 1200ºC Maximum Bridgman crystal growth furnace with a single zone high temperature tube furnace mounted at the bottom, and the pulling device mounted on top,which is designed for growing small size crystal under control atmosphere or sealed quartz crucible at low cost.

The Bridgman furnace is designed with a single zone high temperature tube furnace mounted at the bottom, and the pulling device mounted on top. The base frame can be utilized with almost all of our tube furnaces, so a lot of different lengths, diameters and temperatures are available. Multi-zone Bridgman furnaces are available as well, permitting a better influence on the temperature profile.

Two Heating Zone: 100 mm L for each Zone, 200 mm L in total 

Max. heating temperature: 1200°C

Continuous working temperature: 1100°C

Two programmable digital temperature controllers which control two heating zone independently

Max. Temperature gradient: 1ºC/Cm

① Finding a suitable thermal gradient is user                    responsibility

② Adjusting two heating zone's temperature can create different thermal gradient profile

③ Adjusting furnace opening diameter also can change the thermal gradient

Hanging wire

One set of Ni-SS hanging wire is included (pic to the left). Max. working temperature is 800C.

Optional hanging wire for higher working temperature is available upon request:

① Ni-Cr-Al wire (not included) Max. working temperature < 1100°C

② Platinium wire (not included) Max.working temperature > 1200°C and < 1600°C

A thin hanging wire goes through the top flange. A positive inert gas can keep processing tube under controlled atmosphere

For air-sensitive material, the sample shall be sealed in a small quartz tube with pre-vacuumed as Pic below right
