Compact High Temperature Creeping Tester with Small Punch

High Temperature Creeping Tester is an excellent tool for researching new generation super-alloy by high-throughput.

HT 1500 high temperature tube furnace system is a compact high-temperature creeping tester via a small punch method up to 1350ºC, which can achieve high temp creeping strength with a small disc sample efficiently and economically. High Temperature Creeping Tester is an excellent tool for researching new generation super-alloy by high-throughput.

 

SPECIFICATIONS of high temperature tube furnace system

-       Power: AC 208-240V Single Phase, 50/60 Hz, 1 KW , 15A air breaker is required, 10 ft power cable is included, but no power plug

-       Furnace: Compact and splittable tube furnace with alumina insulation located inside the vacuum chamber.

-       Max. working temperature  1350°C  ( 1300°C for continuously running

-       Temperature accuracy: +/- 0.5 °C  (Eurotherm controller is available at extra cost for further accuracy, +/-0.1°C)

-       Vacuum chamber is hermetic and sealed by silicone o-rings for atmosphere control.

-       Sample Fixture of High Temperature Creeping Tester

Two-piece recrystallized SiC fixture (die). Assembling via threads.

Sample size: 7.90 mm dia. x up to 0.5 mm thickness.

Optional: you may use CNC Sample Puncher to make the round sample.

Punch Rod & Dead Weight

Punch rod is made of Molybdenum through precision machining (

An alignment connector is installed with the pushing rod to ensure 2.5 mm dia. head in the center of the SiC die.

10 pcs of dead weigh apply the force to airtight pushing rod with a total 50Kg. 

-       Heating & Vacuum Chamber of High Temperature Creeping Tester

Special MoSi2 heating elements are built in a split-able furnace with thermal insulation.

Max working Temperature 1300°C continuously, 1350°C for < 1 hr

The heating furnace is fixed in the vacuum-sealed chamber with a hinged type door

Working gas: All types of inert gas and oxygen gas.

Max. Vacuum level: 10-2 torr by a mechanical pump and 10-5 torr by turbopump.

For better atmosphere control, please choose the gas purification system below to reduce oxygen and humidity < 1 ppm.

-       Temperature Control of split tube furnace

Built-in PID Auto-Tune function with overheating & broken thermocouple broken protection.

Over-temperature protection and alarm allow for operation without attendant(s).

+/- 1 ºC temperature accuracy.

RS485 Communications Port. (optional)

-       Control Panel

A laptop computer will be used as a control panel with software. One computer will control 4 sets of the machine.

Software is included, but the Laptop computer is optional at the extra cost.

The PC will display and record the curve of displacement vs Time at a fixed temperature and load
