  • HT-1200C-BCG is a small 1200ºC Bridgman crystal growth furnace with a 80 mm ID quartz tube and precision travel mechanism.Insert a sample into the electric furnace by the rotating lifter, then grow crystal by up-and-down the sample and rotate the sample horizontally by the rotating lifter.

    Two programmable digital temperature controllers which control two heating zone independently

    Finding a suitable thermal gradient is the user's responsibility

    Adjusting two heating zone's temperatures can create different thermal gradient profile

    Adjusting the furnace opening diameter also can change the thermal gradient

    A quartz tube (80mm O.D x 72mm I.D x 800mm L) is included with an airtight flange)

    Travel Mechanism

    DC motor with precision screw drives the furnace up or down for crystal growth

    Travel distance: 200 mm Max.

    Travel speed range: 0.03 mm /hr. - 30 mm /hr. adjustable with +/- 1 micron accuracy (standard)

    Customized speed range is available upon request

    Airtight Flanges

    One pair of air-tight flanges is included for atmosphere control under a vacuum

    The top flange has a mechanical vacuum gauge and 1/4" gas inlet

    The bottom flange has a KF25 vacuum port and 1/4" gas outlet 

    The bottom flange is driven by a DC motor up or down to load and unload the crucible 

    60 Diax 71 mm H graphite crucible is included 

    The crucible holder is built in the flange

    Vacuum level:  10-2 torr by mechanical pump and 10-5 torr by a turbopump

    Control Panel

    A touch screen control PC is included for control travel speed, travel distance,  temperatures of the furnace and crucible temperature separately, as well as gas pressure inside the tube.

    Two Eurotherm controllers and two K-type thermal couples are included with +/- 0.1°C accuracy

    One thermal couple controls the temperature of the furnace 

    One thermal couple displays the temperature of the crucible at its bottom

    One digital pressure sensor with solenoid valves is installed for controlling tube pressure at the constant from 0.01MPa - 0.02MPa

    Optional

    10E-2 torr via dual-stage mechanical vacuum pump

    10E-5 torr via Turbopump

    The vacuum pump is optional.

    For oxygen-sensitive material, suggest using a recirculating gas purification system ( H2O, O2 < 1 ppm) to replace the turbopump
